CONVERSATION ON SELF-MASTERY WITH SHEILA LANGSTON An open dialogue with Sheila Langston and Kavita Maharaj.
Human beings are built for mastery and have been tasked with the life purpose of “self” mastery. This, in fact, is the purpose of the Yogic Path. This year our “Conversations” series invites the community to come together and listen to new perspectives on becoming masterful within oneself. Together, we will explore key themes in the development of mastery, supported by the unique story of each individual presenter. Join Jungian Psychologist Sheila Langston and Kavita Maharaj at the Red Door Yoga Studio on Friday October 25th from 6:30pm to 8pm as we converse about Sheila’s personal journey, and her insight into mastery from a Jungian viewpoint.
Sheila Langston, BFA, is completing Jungian analyst training in Switzerland. She works with individual clients in Vancouver, and leads study groups and dreams groups there. She has taught numerous intensives, workshops and seminars internationally for over a decade. With creative roots in theatre and dance, Sheila has over 30 years experience as a voice instructor and coach in Canada, the U.S., and Europe. Myth and dreams, creativity and the expressions of the soul are the cornerstones of her work and of her life. There are two other “Conversations” in this series (November 8th and 22nd), which participants are also highly encouraged to attend.
